- Collection
- Description
-
Disbound photograph album originally assembled by Ed Fletcher following a trip by plane down the west coast of Mexico. The album includes both unique snapshots (created by Fletcher) and real photo postcards likely purchased on the trip. The album begins in Mazatlán. There are some aerial images of the region between Mazatlán, Tepic and Guadalajara, including volcanos and the Río Grande de Santiago through the Barranca de Oblatos. The album contains many photographic postcard images of Guadalajara. The album continues with numerous scenes of Chapultepec, Mexico City (Ciudad de México), Cuernavaca, and images of the pyramids at Teotihuacán. Finally, the album ends with scenes from a bullfight Fletcher attended, and three postcards from Arizona.
