YES campaign: Footage of the "Carretera Austral" (Austral Highway), the most significant infrastructure initiative of the Pinochet regime, aiming to help transport goods and connect remote areas of the country. Juan Antonio Guzman (Minister of Education) discusses alternatives to university education, arguing that technical education and a focus on computer education will increase job opportunities for youth. Chile is the leading Latin American country in computer studies and the number of computers. This technological leadership reflects modernization under Pinochet. The Radical Democracy Party supports YES to serve humanity. Political favoritism resulted from Marxism in the past. YES is fighting for labor rights and opportunities.
