- Description
-
Single computed slice from a tomographic reconstruction through the Calyx of Held of an adult cat. The mitochondrion in the presynaptic terminal exhibits a structural specialization termed the mitochondrial adherens complex. This image has been downsampled from the raw data image which can be accessed using the link provided to the Cell Centered Database. For more information see: Perkins et al.
