A documentary look at new developments in the lives of the residents of Shaziying Village, Shunyi District, an agricultural area on the outskirts of Beijing. In the director's words: " In 2009, my granddaughter was born, and the film documents these changes in my family. It also follows the other villagers, many of whom are busily building new houses. This year people are fighting over land."
