Wall -- Wall (E-W) -- Represents the northern perimeter wall of the structure. Good construction quality, though seemingly random use of stones of various types and szes. Mosr sones either shale or monzo granite. No apparent consolidation materials. West end stops at -- Part of major sructure of the 9th century phase.

West: corner with wall L1802. East: corner with wall L 1819, L1818.

Area stratum R2b
Length: 5.36, Width: 1.05, 2 lines, fill within, 11 courses. -- protrusion outwards (north) L1802. XXXXX surviving courses. Debris clearly visible on both outside and inside the structure. Built over layer of crushed slag.
