El Cortez Hotel
El Cortez Hotel. The famous El Cortez Hotel in San Diego, Calif., which introduced the first "Glass" elevator to the U.S. Amid flashing starlights it carries the passengers from the lobby to the fabulous skyroom atop the hotel and permits an unobstructed and panoramic vuew of beautiful San Diego Harbor.
