Nevin Lolipe, Vinmari, Jill, and Kaising dishing up lap lap
- Collection
- Description
-
In pre-mission days, either men or women did lap lap preparation separately and the two sexes ate from different fires. Today, cooking often involves most household members. Here Kaising and his daughters, Vinmari and Jill serve the food for guests. Kaising wears a Santo New Hebrides T-shirt from the time before independence.
