Broadside issued by vice president Gómez Farías while effectively serving as president, commmunicating a decree directing that a monument be placed in the location where Spanish soliders surrendered to the Mexican army following the Battle of Tampico, September 11, 1829. The following words to be inscribed on the plaque of the monument: "La Nacion Mexicana=Triunfó de sus invasores=Venciendo al ejército español=El once de Setiembre de mil ochocientos veinte y nueve."
