More talk by George, Diane, Ted and Connie in a collective setting. “This land is our land, it really is. It’s not his, it’s everybody’s.” “You have a group here who are not under government control and aren’t paying rent, sewage, water.”
“Ted and I live on disability which is less than $660/month, also S.S.I. and we still lived in that van out there.” Though this aforementioned foursome offers interesting material, they don't seem like hard core slabbers or locals; just passing through, perhaps.
Gold Man is also on this tape and though his points are well made in terms of population, federal and county legislation, his work with the needy, etc. he seems a bit eccentric when talking and trying to make a ‘serious’ point.
[As a side note, these more recent interviews are more directed and focused in terms of theme/text then interviews of previous years.]
Two-shots and four-shots work well compositionally and are a good contrast with other tapes with interviews. - Creation Date
