To analyze the 2012 bloom event, oceanographic parameters were obtained by averaging data for SST and Chla concentration from the Aqua/MODIS sensor for two localities: Guaymas and Golfo de Santa Clara. We compiled the official landing records reported by CONAPESCA, from the two same localities.
Fishery information from the trackers program. Data catch from Santa Clara of jellyfish and satellite estimates of temperature and chlorophyll a.
