Roger Revelle: statesman of science

The program describes the life and career of Roger Revelle (1909-1991). It includes films, interviews, and photographs to describe Revelle's contributions to oceanography, his work as director of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and his research in population studies, world resources and the environment. Interviewees include: Al Gore, Walter Munk and Ellen Clark Revelle.
