| Description | This folder contains additional sample-specific metadata not included in the raw data files. The metadata includes indicators for samples that failed to meet QC criteria (denoted by a skip_flag set to 1) and the geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) for ship-based sample collections only. The metadata is provided in a .csv file named metadata_YYYY-MM-DD.csv, where YYYY-MM-DD reflects the date the metadata was added, for version control. Data users should take note of the specific metadata.csv file used in their analyses. |
