WWII Plane Wreckage, Rural Santo 3 of 4
- Collection
- Description
-
Some parts of the plane wreckage that were found in the rain forest near Turtle Bay were in good condition, with no signs of rust, which was surprising given that WWII was 50 years earlier. Parts of the planes made of aluminum were in especially good shape. Aluminum does not rust.
