Call Waiting: film still: woman in a bar
- Collection
- Description
-
Lorna Simpson's contribution to inSITE97 was a film entitled "Call Waiting," shown at the Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego. The film features two women in conversation over the phone, who are interrupted by other callers speaking in different languages. The result is an indecipherable web of open-ended stories and conversations that are carried out between the various speakers. --inSITE97
