- Physical Description
black and white negative; 5 7/16 x 3 3/16 inches
Sand on top of that, with a layer of caliche between the sand and gravel. On top of the sand everywhere are mussel shells, sometime heaped up in piles a foot thick: probably of Indian origin. The sand at the northeast end of the ensenada is whited???: most recent dunes here? Yellow farther on again.
A contemporary contact print of this image is available in the album documenting the 1926 trip.
