The Wintua stringband lyrics at the time of Independence were often about politics. The New Blackbird Stringband are seen here practicing for the Anniversary Celebration. The members of the band include the son of Chief Jonsin, Eric, on tea chest bass. Wilson, Shem, Tatswei, Maxsing, and Edwel.
