A wa' newly constructed by Vicente (1929) for his own use. The large yucca trunks are rolled in front of the opening and serve for a door at night. Sleeping on a rawhide at the back of the house, with a small fire burning near the front, Vicente did not use blankets at night. Vicente and María are the only Kiliwa still living in the primitive style of the hut, which in premission days prevailed among all the Indians of the western slope of northern Lower California.
