Liu Bingjian at Beijing University during the First Chinese Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

The photograph of Liu Bingjian was taken at a restaurant on the campus of Beijing University during Chinese First Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. He was an active member of the Urban Generation or Sixth Generation Film Directors and directed Men and Women (1999), one of the first Chinese films to focus on gay life.
