FI (Fill): Second layer -- This is a dark grey silty sand laying directly beneath the yellow-brown aeolian sand of locus 681.. There is some wall collapse in the south of the unit connected to the end of the room there. The wall marking the northern entrance of the building -- complex was found in this level.
Much slag, in the form of tap sheets and chunks of broken slag, was found next to the wall in this locus. Two red and white painted sherds, a strainer or censer fragment, a tuyere pipe and a bellows pipe, were also found next to this wall.
