John Banga Eats Matagambu (holy food)

After a rank-taker kills his pigs, he is given special food, cooked pork called 'matagambu.' People call 'matagambu' holy food and compare it to the transformative bread and wine served at Communion. 'Matagambu' means that the rank-taker has achieved the rank he sought.
