The mother of the baby, Geninaatoo, is sprinkling pulverized barks placed in a leaf. The pulverized bark has been treated with langwalee'ai magic before being given to the mother. She sprinkles this in the clearing as she comes up from the menstrual area. She sprinkles it in all the houses as well. The langwalee'ai magic was peformed earlier by Folofo'u, the paternal grandfather of the baby. Kwa'ilamo is the father of the baby and the son of Folofo'u.
