Portrait of Chief Abel Tari, looking chiefly, stern, and serious at Barnabas Garae's 'wari vundulue' ceremony in Losimembata. He wears the 'rongorongo' or crown on his head, and a 'tomangamanga' or bustle around his waist. These are signs of high rank.
