This sequence of images depicts payment of a bride price. The bride in this case was a Narak woman named Aina, who had married a Bubgile (Kandawo speaker) man. Aina had died before her bride price was paid. The event is described in Susan Pflanz' thesis, Manga Entrepreneurial Strategies.
