MacKenzie, Kevin (2021). CIL:39059, Bos taurus, blood vessel endothelial cell. In Cell Image Library. UC San Diego Library Digital Collections. Dataset. https://doi.org/10.6075/J0F76BC7
- Description
-
This confocal image shows bovine pulmonary artery cells visualized with DAPI to highlight the nucleus (blue), MitoTracker Red CMXRos to stain mitochondria (red dots), and Alexafluor 488 phalloidin to label F-actin filaments in the cell. The pulmonary artery is the large vessel that takes deoxygenated blood cells from the heart to the lungs.
