Lin Tianmiao in Beijing

Lin Tianmiao (1961) is a female Beijing based artist who lived with her husband Gongxing Wang in NYC for several years.
She is a contemporary Chinese installation artist and textile designer. She explores through her use of everyday objects the relationship of tradition and modernization. Many of her works have feminist themes as well.
