- Collection
- Description
-
By the early 1980's, Vila-the capital city-had become home of overseas migrants from French as well as British Pacific possessions. Contemporary cultural variety had made the new country one of the most attractive tourist destinations of the South Pacific. Some women even began to wear trousers for the evening outings even though ten years prior this was rare.
