Slag and ash layer -- Compact ash lense -- Ash an slag layer located between three walls of the early stratum (L1837, L1851, L1852). Most slag ieces are small, pebble size, with very few larger examples and almost no ta slag. Ash varies between white-grey and dark grey-black. Other finds -- Belongs to stratum of accumulation of copper production waste, between end of use of the early architectural complex and the ground prepaaton for he construction of the main 9th century structure.

Possible selective disposal of production waste at this spot. -- includea few tuyere pipes and some furnace fragments. No large furnace fragments found. No surface discovered. End of excavaion of locus technical - end of season.
