Cooper, Mark (2021). CIL:37335, epidermal cell. In Cell Image Library. UC San Diego Library Digital Collections. Dataset. https://doi.org/10.6075/J03N223V
- Description
-
A more fully differentiated epidermal cell. The nucleus and nucleoli are on the left. The video shows the intracellular movements of lysosomes and mitochondria. The lysosomes are the small refractile spherical objects near the nucleus. The mitochrondria are the more elongate elipsoidal organelles. The mitochrondria are moved along microtubules by microtubule-based transport motors. Video made available by Mark Cooper thru Zebrafish - The Living Laboratory.
