Photographs created by American anthropologist John D. LeRoy, in the context of field research with the Kewa people of the Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. Activities associated with ritual exchanges are especially well-represented. Other topics include daily villages activities, such as gardening. A few photographs, taken by an unknown photographer, depict ritual structures present in the 1960s.
