These recordings include spoken word and poetry readings performed by Lyn Hejinian and others from the Lyn Hejinian Papers. Russian poet Arkadii Dragomoshchenko features prominently, along with Hejinian's translations of his work into the English language. Four segments of the radio program "In the American Tree," hosted by Lyn Hejinian and Kit Robinson, are included.
