Data from: Shoreline and beach slope detection using time-variance images
About this collection
- Extent
-
1 digital object.
- Description
-
This collection contains shoreline coordinates and beach slopes derived from time-variance images, lidar, and photogrammetry, plus concurrent tidal elevation and offshore wave data. These data were collected from July 2024 to December 2025 at two field sites; Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach CA, and Seacliff State Beach in Seacliff CA. Lidar and photogrammetry data were used as ground truth to tune and validate new empirical parameterizations for shoreline detection using optical imagery. Please refer to Dooley and Young, 2026 (submitted) for more information.
