The UC San Diego Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American (APIMEDA) Programs and Services records document the activities of the student and community driven program. APIMEDA Programs and Services provides outreach, programs, and other support focused on meeting the needs of the diverse student population. In 2014, the Coalition for Critical Asian American Studies (CCAAS) published an open letter describing the experiences of APIMEDA students and presented a list of demands to the Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. To address these issues, the APIMEDA Programs and Services was developed. Included here are Year in Review issues and Lifebooks produced by APIMEDA.
