Summary: Natalia Joga Llopiz was born Aravaca, Madrid. Natalia recounts that she was forced to evacuate Madrid during the Civil War. She later lived in Barcelona. Natalia relates that her husband, Vicente Luis Llopiz González, was detained in 1963. She explains that he was incarcerated in the Burgos Prison for six years as a result of his underground political activity with the Communist Party of Spain. Natalia describes her visits to Burgos, including her participation in the first demonstration in the city. Natalia discusses her political activities in support of political prisoners.
