San Diego’s bookstore scene is thriving and to celebrate our reading community, the Library is supporting Indie Bookstore Day with a visit to the UC San Diego Bookstore on April 27! The Library’s very own, Scott Paulson, will read stories from various children’s books and play songs from The Cat in the Hat Songbook during this one-day national party.
The third annual #SDBookCrawl takes place April 27 – 29, and again involves nine independent bookstores. Every store is unique and will feature authors, live music, scavenger hunts, kid-friendly events, readings and other fun stuff.
