This young Seri Indian of Tiburon Island, like the other men of his tribe, takes great pride in his long, carefully combed hair, even though he wears a hat instead of the traditional feather head dress. In the summer these Indians live on Tiburon Island, while in the winter they move to the mainland nearby, and only occasionally visit the island on fishing trips.
