Core storage Area - Dennis Bohrer, Repository Manager, DSDP, withdraws a core section for inspection and sampling from the new storage facility at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. A section of core rack which was especially designed to give maximum density of core storage for a given area is seen at the right. All core racks were designed by DSDP engineering and repository personnel and constructed by UCSD Research Support Facilities employees.
