Ashy fill over suface -- Compact ash fill immediately above the packed earth surface of the SE chamber of the main structure. Situated below L1834, which represents remains associated with the actual occupation, the present locus reflects mainly the surface itself. -- Surface of 9th century chamber. Over crushed slag repesenting pre-main structure phase.

Quantity of ceramic finds declines considerably although still higher than in the debris loci of the chamber. Single Cpro-Phoenician shard.
