Amy Altman, a curatorial representative from Columbia University, working in the electronics laboratory aboard the D/V Glomar Challenger (ship) during Leg 69 of the Deep Sea Drilling Project. Her hair was shaved by King Neptune's Court, at an Equator Crossing the Line ceremony when the ship crossed the equator... she was a pollywog (first time Equator crosser). 1979.
