Suufiomea was a highly knowledgeable man from Laa’ula (Malairi), inland behind Sinalagu and Uru. He died in the late 1990s.
'Oi’oifi’ona is a mythical snake, who was cut into parts that each populated various places in the Solomons. Some say one piece went to the United States. Versions of this story are found across the southeastern Solomons.
Fane’elala was a old man from Uka in the mountains between Sinalagu and Uru.
An ’ai’imae is a story about killings in the past, either told or sung in ancestral chant performances that last many hours.
Recording continues on Keesing Cassette Tape 126.
