Managing chronic pain with acupuncture and integrative medicine

This project looked at integrative medicine for chronic pain management. This included two-plus months in clinic with a wide variety of providers managing chronic pain; observed integrative and conventional approaches at UCSD, in the community and in the Bay Area; time with chronic pain patients learning their pain history and their experience with their pain; self study of integrative approaches including basics of yoga, acupuncture, nutrition, mind-body approaches
