Data were collected by the Gulf of California Marine Program (GCMP) directly with the cooperative SCPP. Pueblo Indigena Cucapa Chapay Seisjhiurrar Cucapa S.C. Of R.L. Using their fishing catch recrods from 2002-2016. The data are used as part of the research program to improve the management of fisheries in the Upper Gulf of California. Specifically for Cucapá fishermen, the gulf corvina (Cynoscion othonopterus) is the only fishery they work in, the information here is provided to a multidisciplinary group that tries to approach fishing management from various perspectives with the objective of integrating aspects of differentiated rights with biological-fishing sciences to create an exclusive management plan for the fishermen Cucapá.
