Entire crew of Leg 53 of the Deep Sea Drilling Project on the deck of the D/V Glomar Challenger (ship) before the end of their cruise in Cristobal, Canal Zone. All of Leg 53 was spent at Site 418 where drilling and coring basalt at the southern end of the Bermuda Rise was successfully achieved. 1977.
