The survey area is a 38 square kilometer polygon near the Furnace Creek Inn and Ranch in Death Valley National Park, California. This area was flown on February 27, 2005. The data were collected to investigate transient response of a desert river to forced diversion. Bare-earth extraction was not performed on this dataset due to the scarceness of vegetation in the interest area.
