00:01 -- Men walk slowly, carry spears. They leave village and go through brush. Large number of men, in opposing groups, gathered in clearing; all carry spears, which they brandish aggressively. Some men circle in counterclockwise motion. Some men appear to exhort the crowd. 3:01 -- closeup of two men haranguing each other. 3:55 -- Older man brings adolescent boy forward. The boy wears shell necklaces and face paint. This boy is seen again near end of the film, and is exchanged as a temporary hostage.
