However, suggestions of decorated tubules as well as smooth tubules are found. The decorated tubules may bear V-type proton pumps as is true of homologous structures in Paramecium. TEM taken on 2\/24\/72 by R. Allen with Hitachi HU11A operating at 75kV. Neg. 19,500X. Bar = 0.2µm. The negative was printed to paper and the image was scanned to Photoshop. This digitized image is available for qualitative analysis. There is a high resolution version of this image in the library (CIL:39507) which is available for quantitative analysis.
