The inside cab of the big crane, which was located on the port side of the D/V Glomar Challenger (ship). A prefabricated re-entry cone is almost complete in the background. When needed on Leg 48 of the Deep Sea Drilling Project, the crane operator went into the cab, seated himself, and lifted it over the portside of the drilling vessel. 1976.
