Coccolith Ooze - This scanning electronic microscope picture, magnified 6,000 times, show Coccoliths mixed with Calcite crystals in a sample taken on Leg Seven of the Deep Sea Drilling Project (Guam to Honolulu). The sample was late Miocene in age and taken from about 656 ft. (200M) below the Pacific Ocean Floor.
