The new Sweetwater Dam, near San Diego. Completed June 1911. Arthur S. Bent Construction Co. - Contractor - Los Angeles. 25 feet higher than the old structure - Capacity of reservoir increased to 35,422 acre or 11,540,000,000 gallons.
