Frederick S. Dixon

Dixon worked at Scripps Institution of Oceanography rigging equipment and developing and building shipboard gear that served on many expeditions. "Dixon Seamount" an underwater mountain was named after him by Harmon Craig of the institution for all his work in making many expedition accomplishments possible.
