Homenaje a la U.R.S.S.

Why do we give homage to the U.S.S.R.? 1. Because since the first moment of our fight [the U.S.S.R.] felt with emotion our own cause and it helped us morally and materially in how much it has been able to. 2. Because it is the beacon of progressive and advanced Humanity, [in] front of the barbarous and regressive forces represented by the fascist invasion of our Fatherland and the murder of our women and children. 3. Because, success by success, it will be at our side and will continue showing us its affection and its help until our victory is achieved. Whoever does not feel sympathy for the Soviet Town is a fool and, openly or secretly, conscious or unconscious, an enemy of the cause of our national liberation.
